WHY DID YOU CHOOSE PARIS
It was my 50th Birthday and it is a place I have always wanted to see – and 50 seemed like the perfect excuse.
WHAT WERE THE HIGHLIGHTS
The private tour of the Eiffel Tower was spectacular and seeing it lit up in the evening while enjoying champagne in a nearby bistro was like something out of a fairytale.
Another highlight was the hotel that we stayed in – San Regis. Everyone told me that the hotel rooms were small in Paris and that opening your suitcase could be challenging because they were so small….our room was spectacular. Welcomed with a bottle of Champagne and the most welcoming people at the front desk. It was one of the most charming hotels I have stayed in.
WHAT SURPRISED YOU THE MOST
How easy it was to get around, how friendly everyone is and how clean it was. I had been told stories from people….but obviously they had not been to Paris lately, it was beautiful.
